PAVEMENT LINE STRIPING

The planning and layout of a parking lot are easily taken for granted by drivers, but without striping, parking lots could quickly become anarchic or dangerous. Properly striping parking lots is a craft. Paints parking lots require latex or oil-based paint. The three colors used are white, yellow, blue. White lines mark parking stalls. Blue paint marks handicapped spaces. Yellow paint is used to mark no parking areas, especially in the corners. Yellow paint on the curb indicates a fire lane. Lot lines are 4 inches wide. Parking Stalls- In the United States, parking stalls or spaces are at least 18 feet long and 9 feet wide. Some parking lots have "compact" stalls for compact cars; those stalls are reduced to 16 feet by 8 feet. Handicap stalls typically are 2 to 4 feet wider than the standard width. Lines are lengthened when stalls are laid out on an angle less than 90 degrees. Driving Aisles in parking lots are marked to be at least 24 feet wide for two way traffic. For one-way traffic, the aisles must be at least 12 feet wide..

ASPHALT PAVING REPAIR

Don't Let Potholes Become A Problem Asphalt patching is a great way to quickly and easily rejuvenate your asphalt and bring it back to its original safe and effective surface. Whether the utility company has just dug a trench through your new subdivision road or your 10-year-old parking lot has had a subgrade failure, Complete Sealcoat & Striping can make the repair. The sooner your asphalt is patched, the less likely the damaged area will grow. A failing subgrade left untreated will only become a larger and more costly problem. To place an asphalt patch, we start by cutting out the targeted area (either by saw cutting or jack hammering). The area cut is slightly larger than the damaged area to ensure the patch is tied into a solid foundation. We then fill the hole with asphalt that meets or exceeds the existing asphalt depth and compact it to match the original surface. Quality control when patching asphalt reduces any transition roughness.
