PAVEMENT LINE STRIPING

The planning and layout of a parking lot are easily taken for granted by drivers, but without striping, parking lots could quickly become anarchic or dangerous. Properly striping parking lots is a craft. Paints parking lots require latex or oil-based paint. The three colors used are white, yellow, blue. White lines mark parking stalls. Blue paint marks handicapped spaces. Yellow paint is used to mark noparking areas, especially in the corners. Yellow paint on the curb indicates a fire lane. Lot lines are 4 inches wide. Parking Stalls- In the United States, parking stalls or spaces are at least 18 feet long and 9 feet wide. Some parking lots have "compact" stalls for compact cars; those stalls are reduced to 16 feet by 8 feet. Handicap stalls typically are 2 to 4 feet wider than the standard width. Lines are lengthened when stalls are laid out on an angle less than 90 degrees. Driving Aisles in parking lots are marked to be at least 24 feet wide for twoway traffic. For one-way traffic, the aisles must be at least 12 feet wide..

ASPHALT SEALCOATING

Complete Sealcoat & Striping, LLC cleans the parking lot first with walk behind blowers and wire brushes to make sure that it is clean of all loose debris. Next if the parking lot needs repair we route the cracks out with wire brush routers to make sure that they are free of debris and grass and then seal the cracks with a hot pour rubberized crack sealer and cut out and repair any damaged asphalt. Lastly, we prep the oil stains with Sealmaster Prep Seal.

Now that the parking lot is ready to be sealed we use Sealmaster Polymer Modified Masterseal (PMM). Complete Sealcoat & Striping apply the sealer with a Pressurized 550 Gallon Spray Rig. Sand is added to the sealer along with additives to help improve the performance of the sealer.

PAVEMENT CRACK REPAIR

There are many different situations that require Asphalt Crack Repair. Cracks can be caused by: • poor foundation • not having a thick enough layer asphalt • having too thick a layer of asphalt • earth movement • heavy vehicles • roots from trees • the annual freeze-thaw cycle Protect your investment with routine asphalt maintenance. Using the right asphalt crack repair equipment and crack repair products will allow you to seal asphalt cracks and prevent asphalt deterioration and decay. Other situations requiring Asphalt Crack Repair may include longitudinal, transverse and diagonal cracks, edge cracks, reflective cracks, construction joint cracks, widening cracks, tree root cracks and edge or lane joint cracks.

It is extremely important to repair any asphalt cracks that arise and maintain an ongoing Asphalt Crack Repair maintenance program. Once water is allowed to enter the foundation, the foundation will begin to erode resulting in extensive and costly damage.

ASPHALT PAVING REPAIR

Don't Let Potholes Become A Problem Asphalt patching is a great way to quickly and easily rejuvenate your asphalt and bring it back to its original safe and effective surface. Whether the utility company has just dug a trench through your new subdivision road or your 10-year-old parking lot has had a subgrade failure, Complete Sealcoat & Striping can make the repair. The sooner your asphalt is patched, the less likely the damaged area will grow. A failing subgrade left untreated will only become a larger and more costly problem. To place an asphalt patch, we start by cutting out the targeted area (either by saw cutting or jack hammering). The area cut is slightly larger than the damaged area to ensure the patch is tied into a solid foundation. We then fill the hole with asphalt that meets or exceeds the existing asphalt depth and compact it to match the original surface. Quality control when patching asphalt reduces any transition roughness.
